Master of Science in Industrial Administration (MSc) at Carnegie Mellon University in 1990
Thomas Signer completed undergraduate and graduate studies in the United States, concluding them with a Master of Science degree in Industrial Administration (MSc) at Carnegie Mellon University in 1990. Following business school he worked in the leading investment banking for Nomura Securities in New York where he spent almost four years in the financial department. When he returned to Europe, he was employed in Morgan Stanley's equity derivatives department for three and half years in London. In 1998 he founded his own SIGNER Management finance consultancy in Switzerland. He also lectures finance in the Executive MBA program of SBS Swiss Business School.
Signer is a co-owner and member of the board of Heliobus AG, a Swiss company specialized in daylight technology. Thomas Signer is an individual member of VQF, a Swiss officially recognized self-regulatory organization.
